Thing to do in Moelfre

Just down the road from Dulas Meadow you'll find the lovely coastal town of Moelfre. This is one of Anglesey’s most popular holiday destinations, offering stunning views, beaches and easy access to the Anglesey Coastal Path. If you’re planning a day out at Moelfre while staying with us at Dulas Meadow, here are a few suggestions of things to do.

Grab a bite to eat at Ann’s Pantry

This charming café and restaurant has a rich history dating all the way back to 1926. Originally two fishermen’s cottages, Ann’s Pantry overlooks the stony beach that once served as a bustling herring fishing harbour. The café is renowned for its commitment to homemade, wholesome dishes crafted from seasonal and local produce, including a selection of delicious cakes that are baked in-house using free-range eggs and natural ingredients. Notably, during wartime, it was one of the few places that managed to source chocolate, making it a cherished spot for many.

Visitors can enjoy a delightful afternoon tea or brunch accompanied by Bucks Fizz, all while taking in the serene coastal views. The café also emphasizes sustainability, using compostable or recyclable take-out containers and sourcing Fairtrade tea, coffee, and hot chocolate.
